Continuing Education Requirements for Real Estate Agents

You may not realize it but in order to keep a real estate license, a real estate agent must take 24 hours of continuing education every two years. This must include at least three hours credit in each of the following subjects: Agency Law, Disclosure, Contract Law, Real Estate Legal Issues, Commissioner’s Standards, and Fair Housing. The remaining six hours can be from general courses or any of the categories previously listed.
