The VNSA Used Book Sale, Phoenix - February 13 – 14 at the Arizona State Fair Grounds. This is one of the country’s largest used book sales. CDs and DVDs are also available. Proceeds from the sale are used to support three local non-profit charities.

Prospector’s Family Fun Day, Phoenix - February 20 at the Arizona Mining and Mineral Museum. Enjoy gold panning, activities for children, or browse the mineral dealers tables. Free admission and parking.

Books at Bargain Prices

Chandler Public Libraries are once again having a used book sale. The sale is open to the public at all branches Sept. 18 to 20. This is a great place to pick up some books for only a few dollars. On Sept. 20 all books remaining will be reduced to five for $1 at the Downtown and Sunset branches only.

Chandler Public Library Locations:

Downtown branch – 22 S Delaware St

Basha branch – 5990 S Val Vista Dr

Sunset branch – 4930 W Ray Rd

Hamilton branch – 3700 S Arizona Ave

Do you like to read? Whether you read a lot or just a little, I have a website for you. It’s called Goodreads. A place you can search for the perfect book. But, also, a place to keep track of those you’ve read, rate them and write a review. There’s so many good things in Goodreads, you’re better off visiting the website and seeing for yourself.

Huge Used Book Sale

The 53rd Annual VNSA Used Book Sale is scheduled for February 14 and 15. This is one of the largest used book sales in the country. It is held at the Arizona State Fairground Exhibit Building located at 1826 W McDowell Rd in Phoenix. They accept donations of books prior to the sale.
